Louie Flores is a black and grey tattoo artist and owner of Avenue Tattoo in West Fargo, North Dakota. Originally from Southern California, Lou began tattooing in Redlands, California at Inkfamous Arte in 2012, where he studied under respected artist Tat2Sergio and developed the foundation of his craft within the influential Inland Empire tattoo scene.
Surrounded by the rich culture and high standards of West Coast tattooing, Lou refined a style rooted in bold contrast, smooth shading, and timeless black and grey design. He continued tattooing throughout the Inland Empire for several years, building experience and sharpening his technical precision while developing an approach centered on professionalism and client trust.
In 2020, Lou relocated to Fargo, North Dakota, bringing his West Coast influence and artistic discipline to the Midwest. In 2025, with a vision to elevate the client experience and uphold strong industry standards, he founded Avenue Tattoo — a studio built on respect, cleanliness, and quality craftsmanship.
Today, Lou specializes in custom black and grey work designed to stand the test of time. Lou is a very well rounded artist capable of many tattoo styles, color tattoos, lettering, American traditional.
